A lock ( lock ) or 20 gauge to mm sheet metal|20 gauge sheet metal thickness On normal electrical boxes, screws are usually 6-32. this being a bit light for a fan, also expect 8-32 or 10-32. Ground screws are 10-32. It's not a coincidence that they are -32, given the thickness of standard metal junction .

Sheet metal thickness is vital for vehicle durability. The standard measurement for this thickness is “gauge,” with a higher gauge number indicating a thinner piece of metal. The gauge system is often used in conjunction with millimeters to specify the thickness of metal.

adding an electrical outlet box

I need to extend a 14/2 WG wire a few feet. To do this I want to add the extra wire using a junction box. The problem is that I can't get a good angle to nail the junction box down so I was wondering if using Liquid Nails would be against code?
